Step 1

Scriptwriting & Brainstorming

Rather than just showcase what they do, our client wanted a video that illustrated the values and passion that went behind it. Being writers themselves, they created a poetic script, so the animation had to be just as beautiful and original as the words.
Step 2

Voiceover

The people at Studio32 wanted to be part of the entire creation process, so they provided the voiceover. We also offer voiceovers made by a wide variety of professional actors in different languages to best fit the tone and audience of your video. We’re completely flexible and always put the clients need first.

Step 3

Sketching Phase

Studio32 is entrenched in the urban culture of its founder’s home town – Plovdiv, Bulgaria, so it was clear this had to be at the core of the video. That’s why the initial sketches were made directly on original photographs from Plovdiv, made by the photographers of the studio.
Step 4

Style sample

After the sketches were approved by the client, we went into creating an in-depth development of the elements which were to be featured in the video. For the characters, we chose a monochromatic color scheme so they could stand out among the colorful real-life photos. Their design had to be sleek and modern in order to correspond with the youthful energy of the people at Studio32.

Step 5

Graphic storyboard

Once our friends were happy with the sketches, we presented them with an idea of what the video will look like, the transitions between scenes, and the overall visual story. This was a vital step so that the client could envision the entire message which would be put across.
Step 5

Animation

Finally, it was time to bring our monochromatic people and their Plovdiv setting to live. Besides the main characters, we also wanted to include clever elements in the background so that you would want to replay the video and you would notice something new every time. We wanted to show the care Studio32 put in their work, their attention to detail, and their understanding of the “bigger picture”. All this turned into a fresh and cool final product that we were very proud to put forward!
