To clearly explain the benefits of their service and the problems their system can solve, they contacted us to help create an attractive and engaging animated explainer video, and we did exactly that!

Step 1
The Dice Brief
Dice wanted a colourful and attractive explainer video that connected directly with their target audience of Millenials. They wanted a video that ‘set the scene’, illustrating how so many people struggle to find their perfect outfit for different events or occasions, and then the Dice search engine app is introduced as the solution to these problems.
Dice also wanted an attractive logo and smartphone icon for the launch of their app.
The Dice Explainer Video Creation Process
We handled the entire video-making process for Dice; this included Scriptwriting, voiceover recording, designs and animation.We started by writing a fun and engaging script for the video. To properly communicate the ‘problems’ that the Dice app was the solution, we ensured the script featured a number of example scenarios in which people struggle to find the perfect outfit, such as a 30th birthday party or a first date! Using a lighthearted tone, we then introduced Dice as the answer to the problem, presenting the viewer with a direct solution and reason to download the app. We also went into detail about how the app works for both the customer and the store owner.

Voiceover
Next came the voiceover; choosing from our selection of talented voiceover artists, the team at Dice found the perfect artist for their video, who delivered a number of samples before agreeing on the perfect tone and pace for the video, and recording a final voiceover track.

Sketching Phase
We then moved on to the creation of a storyboard to map out the structure and narrative of the video.

Animation
Finally, we bring the whole explainer video alive by animating the many objects, elements and characters in each scene. There was a great range of characters, objects and settings in this video, all using vibrant and attractive colours and designs to result in an incredibly engaging video that is fun to watch!
